Cloe (f)

Harvey (m) & Marley (f) DOB:

A couple years ago an Albuquerque rescue asked us to pull a mama dog and young puppies from our local shelter. The puppies all ended up getting kennel cough so the other rescue declined to take them. I cannot tell you why this litter is still with us. Their mama was adopted when they were still puppies. She is in a great home. Harvey, Marley, Kylee and Shylee are still in our rescue. At one point Marley was adopted but was super shy so she was returned after a couple days. These dogs would do best being adopted in pairs. Marley & Harvey and Kylee & Shylee. They are very playful, love water and enjoy chasing each other around their foster home (all 4 live together). They would do best with adopters who are willing to give the time to come around. Once they feel safe, they are amazing dogs. Please show these dogs what it is like to have a family of their own!

Jackie (f) & Rascal (m) Estimated DOB 09/20/2013

Jackie & Rascal have been in the rescue for awhile we got them as you puppies when they were left in a box at a business in town.  They do not show well at adoption events because they are fairly shy.  However, once they are comfortable they will run around your back yard playing & enjoy playing in any water they can find.  They have amazing personalities, but it takes a little while for them to come out of their shells when they are placed in new situations.

We DNA tested one of the dogs from this liter and found them to be Miniature Pinscher, Flat-coated Retriever, Shetland Sheepdog mixes.  They are medium sized dogs, in the 30-40 lb. range.

Oreo (f) & Sundance (f)  Estimated DOB: 12/24/2014

These two were rescued as puppies from underneath a house and their mother was a Border Collie.  They are sisters even though they have very different looks.  We think they will do well in an adoptive home together!  They are active and playful dogs.

Cora & Calvin (and two of their siblings) were pulled from the animal shelter.  They live in the same foster home and are practically attached at the hip.  Where you see one, you will always find the other one close by.  They are shy at first but once they feel safe they are super friendly and outgoing.  They live in a foster home with children and two other small dogs.

Karl (m) & Addie (f)

Karl and Addie have spent most of their lives in our rescue. They were born to a stray mama dog. When Karl, Addie and their 4 littermates were about 3 1/2 weeks old, their mama was hit and killed by a car. We had been trying to catch her for several weeks. We knew she had puppies but had no idea where they were. Animal Control called us to inform us that the mama had been killed. We immediately headed to the area to search for the puppies. The next day -- about 20 hours after the mama dog was killed, members of the Mesilla Valley Search and Rescue were able to find the puppies!!! They were immediately taken into our rescue. All of the litter had been adopted out. Karl and Addie went the the same adoptive home -- but did not warm up fast enough for the adopter so they were returned to the rescue. They deserve a family of their own!! They will need time to adjust, but once they feel comfortable you will see how loving and goofy these two are! Karl and Addie are very bonded so we plan to adopt them out together.  Estimated DOB: 02/14/2016

Axton (m)  & Frannie (f) DOB 01/19/2016

We had a family of dogs turned into the rescue some time ago and these two dogs are from that liter.  Axton & Frannie can be playful dogs once you get to know them.  Their mom was a lab mix we believe and she had an extremely cheerful personality..

Bruiser (m) & Bosley (m) DOB 09/10/2015

We pulled their mother Sydney from a high-kill shelter and she gave birth to several puppies 2 days later. Bruiser & Bosley are extremely bonded and must be adopted together.  They are very playful and high-energy.  The would do best as only dogs in a home as they are dog selective.  They require a home with a high fence because they can jump.
